Bartoli Refrattari, a refractory materials manufacturer, was founded in Deruta in 1975 by its namesake owner, Mr. Bartoli Nello, as a support for the production of artistic ceramics, for which the Umbrian town is famous worldwide.

Over the years, the initial production, primarily casting supports for firing artistic ceramics, has been accompanied by the production and marketing of refractory slabs, which has allowed the company to expand its production by specializing in the refractory extrusion technique.

This has led to continuous technical updating using cutting-edge machinery and equipment, allowing us to produce small and large refractory slabs suitable for both private and professional customers.

Advanced production techniques now allow Bartoli Refrattari to produce oven plates of various sizes, allowing us to reach and meet the needs of all our customers in a personalized manner. Most of our numerous customers are pizzerias in both Italy and Europe.

Today, Bartoli Refrattari, starting with the basic elements, produces all materials in-house and is a leading company in the food industry, thanks to the certification its products receive after passing stringent controls. Bartoli Refrattari products have a remarkable ability to absorb and retain heat, maintaining and releasing it gradually and evenly, benefiting food cooking and are particularly popular for pizza.
